About Us

Situated just off the M4 in Pontyclun, near Llantrisant, the Barn is a great pub and hidden gem, offering the best in traditional pub food. Why not sample one of our fantastic cask ales with your meal, or just come to relax and unwind with friends. The Barn has an extensive beer garden and children’s play area and also offers an exclusive area for customers to eat or maybe hold a meeting or function, just what you need for any occasion. Piri Piri Chicken Wings

BBQ chicken wings served with a spicy Piri Piri sauce and cool sour cream and chive dip.
Goat’s Cheese and Caramelised Onion Bruschetta (v)

Toasted ciabatta bread, drizzled with oil and topped with melted goat’s cheese and caramelised onions.

Chicken BBQ Melt

A butterfly chicken breast, grilled and chopped with bacon, BBQ sauce and melted cheddar cheese. Served with chips and a side salad.
Pedigree Beer Battered Fish & Chips

Battered in-house with our famous Pedigree beer batter. Served with chips and your choice of mushy or garden peas and tartare sauce.
Wexford Cheddar & Chutney Tart (v)

A shortcrust pastry base filled with Wexford Cheddar cheese sauce, cherry tomatoes and chutney. Served with new potatoes and side salad.

For all the chocolate lovers out there? An individual chocolate cake with a melting chocolate heart.
Bramley Apple Pie

Slices of Bramley apples in a sweet shortcrust pastry, dusted with sugar. Served with a choice of custard, cream or ice cream.
